The Warriors extended their undefeated streak to 19-0 Thursday night after a dominant straight-set victory over the Mount Calvary Christian Chargers, winning 25–17, 25–13, 25–15. The win punches their ticket into the CCAC Championship game on Saturday at Lancaster Bible College at 6:30 p.m.
The first set was a battle of momentum as both teams traded points early. The Chargers’ outside hitters found success at the net early and often, forcing Linville to call a timeout trailing 12–15. But out of the break, the Warriors’ defense locked in and contained Mount Calvary’s attack while shifting the energy of the match. With strong serving and timely defensive plays, Linville rallied to close out the set 25–17.
From there, it was all Linville. With echos from our Sixth Man, Cowboys Hats, and chants for #14, The Warriors found their stride going into the second set. Everyone was dialed in from Setters, the bench and the Coaching staff. The second and third sets showcased the Warriors’ balance and composure as our middle hitter exploded for 8 kills to close the second set and 5 more in the third, sealing the sweep 25–13, 25–15.
Whats Next: With the victory, Linville (19-0) continues their remarkable run and now turns their focus to Saturday night’s CCAC Championship matchup, where they’ll face the West Shore Christian Academy Bobcats for the CCAC Girls Volleyball Championship.
