Lancaster,  PA – 10/18/25

The Warriors completed a perfect run through the Commonwealth Christian Athletic Conference (CCAC) post season Saturday night, capturing the Girls Volleyball CCAC Championship in dominant fashion at Lancaster Bible College. Linville swept the West Shore Christian Academy Bobcats in straight sets, 25–17, 25–16, 25–12, securing the program’s first conference title since 2021 and finishing the regular season and conference post season with an  20–0 record.

The match opened with both teams trading points as West Shore showed why they were the CCAC West #1 seed with power at the net. The Bobcats, who had strong middle and outside hitters, challenged Linville early with sharp serve returns and skilled play at the net. But the Warriors quickly adjusted to the larger court and brighter lights of the Horst Athletic Center (HAC), settling into a steady rhythm that silenced any early jitters and the WSCA crowd.

Once Linville found its footing, the tide turned quickly. Consistent serving and disciplined defense forced West Shore into a string of return errors, which the Warriors capitalized on. The first set closed with a late Linville surge, capped off by a decisive block at the net that sent the Warriors bench into celebration.

The second and third sets showcased Linville’s depth and composure. The Warriors’ hitters found their stride, spreading the attack across the front line while the back row kept rallies alive wit sharp digs and smooth transitions. Each time West Shore tried to rally, Linville answered and maintained energy and control from start to finish.

By the final set, Linville’s confidence was at an all time high. The Warriors’ communication and chemistry shined as they built an early lead and never looked back, closing out the championship with a commanding 25–12 finish.

With the conference title now secured, the Warriors turn their attention to the PIAA District 3 Post-Season. Linville will enter the tournament as the No. 1 seed and will receive a first-round bye. They will await the winner of Millersburg and Covenant Christian Academy who are the No. 8 and No. 9 seeds. The Warriors will host the winner at home on Thursday, October 23, at 7:00 p.m.

For Linville, the night marked more than a championship. A return to the top of the CCAC, a testament of Faithfulness to God and a community of faith with a mission to Glorify God with our talents. And…Maybe…, just the beginning of a deep postseason run.
